Our MISSION
MERCY Communities is a 501(c)(3), not-for-profit organization dedicated to addressing the crisis of family homelessness by providing housing and supportive services to foster the independence of homeless women with children and at-risk women with children.
Since 1999 we have served roughly 1,400 clients (moms and their children). MERCY Communities has grown from providing 10 units of housing in 1999 to 30 units in 2022. In fiscal year 2022, MERCY Communities housed and supported 55 mothers with 101 children.

More Than a place to stay
Our professional staff meet one on one at least weekly with the clients and their children.
In addition, one evening per week, MERCY hosts various speakers, activities, demonstrations, videos, educators and community volunteers to provide small life skill sessions centered on the pillars of self-sufficiency: housing, parenting, budgeting and life skills.
Children also are provided with counseling, as needed, with emphasis on educational achievements. We are thankful for your support!
